Replace
Notebook Bottom Screws/Compartment
Door
Affix
the notebook compartment door using
the factory provided attachment hardware
(Item
#24-10704-60). Instructions
applicable to models
NC1500, NC1501, NC1502, NC1503, NC1510,
NC1610, VA2000, VA2001, VA4100, VA4101,
VA4103 and VA4300.
Parts Needed: 7 multi-length screws

Tools
Needed: (1)
Phillips #0 screwdriver
Time Required: 5 minutes
STEP
1
Insert
the 2 longest screws into the
top corner sockets. The middle-length
screw (if completely removed)
should be returned to the center
socket. Small screws should be
used in all other locations.
CAUTION: Placement of the longer
screws into the wrong location
will damage the motherboard of
your notebook.

2
Hand
tighten all screws.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE
FORCE WHILE TIGHTENING SCREWS.
